Before Perfume Had a Name

Long before perfume had a bottle, it had a purpose.

The House of JK started with a dream, passion, and the desire to create unforgettable fragrances — grown into a symbol of luxury, confidence, and timeless elegance.

The Keeper of Other Names

Long before the first bottle carried the name JK, there was another chapter — a quieter one, spent curating the work of other houses. Every shelf told someone else’s story; every recommendation was built on years of learning what distinguished an ordinary fragrance from one that quietly stayed with people long after they had left the room.

With every passing year, a question grew louder: if we had learned so much from the great houses, why did we feel increasingly distant from what we truly wanted to create? Closing that chapter was never an act of leaving fragrance behind. It was the opposite — choosing to move closer to it, from presenting the work of others to accepting the responsibility of creating our own.

The Question That Changed Everything

It arrived after years of watching people fall in love with fragrance, only to hesitate when they reached the price — believing that true luxury belonged to someone else, granted only by a famous name or a historic address. We never believed craftsmanship should require permission.

So we stopped asking, “How do we build a successful fragrance brand?” and began asking, “How do we build a house that deserves to be trusted?” Every bottle we create is still our attempt to answer that question.
